Federal Supreme Court rejects appeals in three terror cases

Three separate appeals made by defendants on terrorism-related charges have been rejected.

In one of the cases, the UAE’s Federal Supreme Court upheld a man’s life sentence for joining the IS terror group.

The court also ruled in support of the conviction of a man who illegally possessed a number of weapons, and was sentenced to 18 months in jail.

Meanwhile, the seven-year term handed to a man who committed hostile acts against a sister country was likewise upheld.
