Reza

Reza is the music manager and the presenter on the show “Moosighi O’ Man” on Radio Shoma 93.4.He is also known as the Radio Shoma’s big brother. Reza brings the newest and the most popular Farsi hits to Radio Shoma’s play list.

Furthermore he loves to interact with his listeners every Saturday on his show. Reza‘s specific taste and touch in music is perhaps the result of his tertiary studies in IT. Combined with his musical skills and knowledge, he is as competent and talented as they come. For the past 15 years, Reza kept busy by teaching Classical Piano to various age groups in his spare time. Reza’s unique ability to infuse his various skills, from the delicate art of teaching the Classical Piano to his knowledge of the cold factual mathematics through IT, has made him what he is today – a loveable presenter and a precise yet artistic music manager on Radio Shoma 93.4.

Reza starts his daily routine with a 15 minute walk to work – followed by a big cup of black coffee. He then turns on the good old radio to listen to his favorite station, Radio Shoma 93.4 – This is to experience and monitor the sound and the quality of the music. He finishes his day when the play lists are set with the hottest, the newest and the greatest hit music there are to play.

One of Reza’s proudest moments in life was, the moment that one of his articles was published in one of the largest academic music magazines in the region.

One thing that you may have known about Reza is that he enjoys singing Rock and Blues music in Farsi. This is how he was given the opportunity to collaborate with one of the timeless legends of Farsi music “Aref” as the composer, lyricist and a fellow duet partner in the song “To Nabashi” in 2011. Thus in one’s opinion, Reza’s Biography can be summarized in a simple phrase “A heart with a brain”.
