The children of a California couple say they've forgiven their parents for years of torture, starvation and imprisonment.

It comes as David and Louise Turpin were sentenced to life in prison.

The children told an LA court they still loved their mother and father despite the ordeal.

The Turpins were arrested last year when one of their children escaped their home and called police.

They've pleaded guilty to the abuse of all but one of their 13 children for at least nine years.
