India election: Voters head to polls in second phase

Voting is underway for the second phase of India’s general election.

More than 155 million people are eligible to vote in the latest round, which covers 95 constituencies in 12 states.

The election began last week and will end next month in a massive exercise involving around 900 million people.

Votes will be counted on May 23 and the results are expected the same day.
