Pakistani authorities have arrested a high ranking militant leader.

According to local media, Hafiz Saeed was captured near the central Pakistani town of Gujranwala.

He is the founder of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), the group that India and the USA blame for the Mumbai terror attacks in 2008.

The charges that Saeed is facing have still not been made public but it's likely that they will revolve round terrorism financing.
