More than 30 dead in Japan animation studio fire, arson suspected

More than 30 people have died after a fire broke out at an animation studio in Japan.

According to local media reports, the cause is suspected to have been arson after a man was seen dousing the building with petrol.

The incident happened in the city of Kyoto on Thursday.

The blaze, which broke out at the Kyoto Animation studio, also left more than 30 people injured.

A 41-year-old man has been taken into custody
