11 deaths on UAE roads over Eid

11 people died in traffic accidents during the Eid Al Adha holidays. That’s according to figures released by the Traffic Coordination Directorate General at the Ministry of Interior, which also show that 84 people were injured as a result of the incidents. Brigadier Ghaith Hassan Al Zaabi, Director General of Traffic Coordination at the Ministry of Interior, said that the accidents were caused by a failure to abide by the rules of the road. He stressed the importance of obeying the laws, of leaving a safe distance from other vehicles, and of not using mobile phones whilst driving.
