1,988 new COVID-19 cases in UAE

The UAE confirmed 1,988 new cases of COVID-19 from 249,333 tests on Wednesday.

Another 1,922 people have recovered, taking the overall tally to 597,008.

Six patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,773.

A total of 618,148 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 19,367 are currently active.
