40 tons of expired food seized in Ajman

Ajman DED has seized 40 tons of expired food products in a recent raid.

In a video on the authority's Instagram page, inspectors are seen seizing the foodstuffs before they get distributed to the emirate's markets. 

This comes as the authority intensifies inspections in cooperation with municipality officials and Ajman Police in order to protect consumers.
