Authorities in Abu Dhabi are cracking down on vehicles parked randomly in Mafraq Industrial Area.

A major campaign has been launched by the City Municipality to clear trucks and other heavy vehicles from temporary parking slots and prohibited zones.

It comes following an increase in the number of abandoned vehicles in the area.

Officials said their inspections will also focus on companies and individuals using the site for storing heavy equipment and tools.
