Abu Dhabi's Crown Prince meets Indian PM in New Delhi

His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.

The two leaders discussed strengthening the strategic partnership between the UAE and India, focusing on ways to enhance bilateral cooperation.

The meeting was held at Hyderabad House during an official reception for the Emirati delegation.

Sheikh Khaled extended greetings from UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, wishing Prime Minister Modi good health and prosperity for India.

Modi reciprocated with greetings for the UAE President and praised the ongoing efforts to boost relations between the two nations.

During the discussions, several new agreements were announced under the UAE-India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).

Key highlights include:

  • ADNOC's 15-year deal with IndianOil for 1 million metric tonnes of LNG annually from its Ruwais project, along with a strategic agreement to enhance India's energy security.
  • ADQ’s Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Gujarat to create a high-tech food and agriculture park.
  • A partnership between the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation and the Nuclear Power Corporation of India to exchange expertise and advance nuclear energy development.

These developments underscore the commitment of both nations to deepening their economic and strategic ties.
