The UAE's Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has warned residents about scammers claiming to represent government agencies by duplicating their official logos on documents.
Taking to their official social media channels, the MoHRE said fraudsters use the documents to convince users to share their personal information and contact certain numbers or face their bank accounts being blocked.
People have been urged not to respond to such messages and report them to the relevant authorities.
We have detected a fake message that included the logo of MoHRE and other government entities, asking customers to provide them their information and call certain numbers, otherwise they would allegedly block their bank accounts.
