Authorities in the UAE are urging the public to continue following health and safety guidelines that have been put in place to combat the spread of COVID-19.
They have reiterated that penalties and fines remain in force, and reminded people not to get complacent.
It comes following an increase in the number of daily COVID-19 cases in the Emirates on Wednesday.
Authorities have called on the public to continue to avoid social gatherings, reminding them that a fine of AED 10,000 will be issued for the organiser and AED 5,000 each for the guests.
A fine of AED 3,000 will be issued to those failing to wear a mask or maintaining physical distancing rules in public.
Officials have reiterated that their efforts and strategy will only work if people comply with the preventative measures.
Here's the list of fines:
- Hosting large gatherings: AED 10,000
- Attending a social gathering: AED 5,000
- Not wearing a mask: AED 3,000
- Not maintaining physical distancing rules: AED 3,000
- Having no more than three people in a car (unless they are from the same family): AED 3,000
