The temporary closure of commercial activities in Dubai has been extended until April 18.
According to the Department of Economic Development (DED), the directive is in line with the preventive measures taken to contain the spread of COVID-19.
The authority said that its circular on the closure of commercial activities has been extended until the end of the National Disinfection Programme on April 18.
It also confirmed that the exempted sectors will continue to operate as usual.
The DED had initially ordered all outlets, except those providing essential services, to close for two weeks, from March 25.
