Dubai International Airport (DXB) is extending the temporary limit on inbound flights for 48 hours "to speed up recovery".
In a statement on social media, the airport said, "We're endeavouring to do our best to support guests impacted by delays due to recent unprecedented weather conditions".
Travellers have been advised to head to the airport only if they have a confirmed flight and to check with their airline for updates.
The airport earlier limited the number of arriving flights until 4:00 am on April 19.
We have temporarily limited inbound flights to #DXB until 04:00, 19 April 2024, due to the ongoing disruption. Departures, however, will continue to operate.
