ERC completes 338 children's surgeries in 4 countries in first year

The Emirates Red Crescent's Nahr Al Hayat Fund has successfully conducted 338 surgeries for children in four countries in its first year of operations. 

It included open-heart and general surgeries, and ear, eye, nose, and throat procedures. 

Launched to address health care needs of children, the fund operates programmes in multiple countries, treating children either locally or abroad based on their access to healthcare services. 

The fund has also forged partnerships with specialised hospitals and volunteer medical teams to ensure comprehensive care for the children.
