Expo 2020: Terra pavilion closed following Sheikh Hamdan's death

Expo 2020 Dubai has announced the closure of the preview of Terra - The Sustainability Pavilion, as the UAE mourns the death of Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The pavilion has closed with immediate effect, in observation of the mourning period.

Dates for its re-opening will be confirmed in due course.

Visitors who have already purchased tickets will be able to use them on an alternative day, or can request a refund by contacting 800-EXPO or info@expo2020.ae.

The Expo 2020 Dubai team has expressed its condolences on the passing of Sheikh Hamdan.
