Female officers join Dubai Police's sniper squad

Dubai Police has now inducted female officers in their sniper squad.

The authority said the officers "demonstrated outstanding tactical skills" in the sniper course, which featured several aspects including archery principles, mathematical equations for shooting, as well as dealing with humidity, mirage, and ways of observation.

The course’s graduation ceremony, which took place at the Training City – Al Ruwayyah, was held in the presence of Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, Acting Assistant to the Commander-in-Chief for Operations at Dubai Police and Colonel Obaid Bin Mubarak Yarouf, director of Security and VIP Protection Department.
