Fire breaks out in Dubai residential building

A fire that broke out in a residential building in Dubai's Al Barsha 1 area has been brought under control.

According to the Dubai Civil Defence, firefighters from Al Barsha station rushed to the scene after receiving a report at 1:24 pm.

They were assisted by teams from three others stations who helped evacuate the building and brought the blaze under control within 14 minutes.

No injuries or casualties have been reported.

The site has been handed over to the authorities for further investigation.
