H.H. Sheikh Abdullah meets Afghanistan Acting Foreign Minister

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has met with Acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi in Abu Dhabi.

The two discussed ways to enhance the interests of both nations, along with ways in which to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting both parties spoke about working in unison across multiple sectors to ensure stability, development and prosperity. Both sides put particular focus on togetherness in economic and developmental fields, while supporting reconstruction and development efforts in Afghanistan, to serve its developmental plans and objectives, within the framework of the strong and historical relations that unite the two nations.

The meeting was attended by Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State.
