H.H. Sheikh Mohamed receives Malaysian PM

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Wednesday received Malaysia's Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.

During the meeting at Abu Dhabi's Al Shati Palace, the leaders discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations as well as opportunities for developing trade and economic cooperation.

They reviewed the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and the urgent need for solidarity between countries and the concerned health organisations.

The discussions also touched on the latest regional and international developments, and topics of mutual concern.

Sheikh Mohamed said, "The UAE has a great interest in developing its relations with countries with distinguished and inspiring development experiences."

The Malaysian Prime Minister also stressed his country's keenness to strengthen cooperation with the UAE.
