Houthis designated terrorist group by Arab Parliament

The Houthi militia in Yemen has been designated as a terrorist group by the Arab Parliament.

According to national news agency WAM, it has also called on the United Nations to take similar action.

The announcement came at the conclusion of the Arab Parliament’s latest session in Cairo.

During the meeting, members also condemned the recent attacks on Saudi civilian facilities and commercial vessels in the UAE’s territorial waters and in the Gulf of Oman.
