Motorists urged to drive safely in dusty conditions

Abu Dhabi Police

Authorities in the UAE are calling on drivers to take extra care on the roads during dusty conditions.

Abu Dhabi Police say that motorists should reduce speed, leave a greater distance between vehicles and use low-beam headlights during time of low visibility.

It's a message that's backed by the founder and Managing Director of Road Safety UAE, Thomas Edelmann.

He told ARN News that drivers should also be aware of the build-up of sand on roads
