New code of conduct planned for UAE teachers

The Ministry of Education is drafting a new code of conduct, which defines the rights and duties of teachers. Once approved, the code will be applicable to all teachers in public and private schools following the ministry's curriculum. It covers aspects such as recruitment, technical competence, administrative responsibilities as well as students’ safety. The ministry has stressed that the initiative is part of plans to ensure transparency and stability in schools.
