Abu Dhabi has introduced stricter rules for holding social events and celebrations, with the maximum occupancy level now reduced to 60 per cent.

The number of attendees at outdoor and open-air activities must not exceed 150, while for indoor events the capacity is capped at 50.

Social events at home should not include more than 30 people.

Entry to events also requires compliance with green pass protocols and presenting a negative PCR test result received within 48 hours.

The move is part of enhanced precautionary measures against COVID-19.
