Employees of federal government entities in the UAE have been allowed to work remotely on Thursday, May 2, due to the adverse weather forecast.
The decision, which is based on the UAE Cabinet's direectives, does not apply to jobs that require on-site presence at the workplace.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology, the weather is set to be unstable from Wednesday night through Thursday, with rainfall of varying intensities, accompanied by lightning, thunder and possibly hail.
