Road closures in place for Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge

Watch out for rolling road closures in Dubai on Saturday as thousands of riders gear up for the annual Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge.

The main race will weave through the city passing several landmarks like Expo 2020 Dubai and Global Village.

The road closures will affect several areas including Hessa Street, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, Al Khail Road, Dubai Sports City, Al Asayel Street and Yalayis Street, among others. 

  • Motor City Traffic Lights: Closure time 5:00 am, opening time 10:30 am.
  • D61 Hessa Street: 6:00 am to 8:15 am.
  • E311 Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Rd: 5:45 am to 8:15 am.
  • Dubai Sports City: 5:45 am to 8:30 am.
  • D72 Al Asayel Street: 5:45 am to 8:15 am.
  • E44 Al Khail Road D61: 5:45 am to 8:15 am.
  • E44 Al Khail Road D86: 6:00 am to 8:15 am.
  • GEMS Al Barsha Roundabout: 6:00 am to 7:30 am.
  • D59 x D72 Discovery Gardens: 6:20 am to 7:30 am.
  • D61 Emirates Hills: 6:20 am to 8:15 am.
  • D86 Lakes: 6:00 am to 8:15 am.
  • Remraam Roundabout: 6:00 am to 10:45 am.
  • D57 Yalayis Street: 6:00 am to 10:00 am.
  • E77 Expo Road: 6:00 am to 10:00 am.
