A delegation from the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Sharjah recently concluded a visit to China, where it inspected prototype buses that will be introduced to the emirate's public transport fleet.
The delegation's primary objective was to evaluate the latest advancements in electric and eco-friendly bus technologies, learning through discussions with Chinese counterparts about their current and future public transport innovations.
Sharjah is set to receive 38 out of 55 of these innovative buses within the next three months enhancing RTA Sharjah's fleet with state-of-the-art, environmentally conscious vehicles.
