Sharjah Ruler allocates AED 550 million to research

Sharjah's Ruler has allocated a whopping AED 550 million to scientific research in the emirate.

His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah will provide the funds to the American University of Sharjah (AUS) over the next five years.

The announcement was made during the university’s spring 2019 convocation ceremony, which saw more than 600 students graduate.

His Highness, who is the President of AUS, also shared the upcoming plans and achievements of the university.
