Sheikh Mohamed begins official visit to Germany

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, is on a two-day state visit to Germany.

According to national news agency WAM, Sheikh Mohamed is set to meet German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier as well as Chancellor Angela Merkel.

The two sides will discuss ways to boost cooperation in various fields and will also hold talks on the latest regional and international developments.

The visit comes days after Germany Foreign Minister Heiko Maas visited the UAE as part of a regional tour.
