UAE authorities urge caution as red, yellow fog alerts issued

Heavy fog has hit parts of the UAE, reducing visibility, with authorities urging residents to exercise caution on the roads.

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued a red and yellow fog alert for several parts of Abu Dhabi and Dubai, starting from 10:30 pm on Sunday, extending until 10:00 am on Monday.

Visibility is expected to significantly deteriorate, with the potential for further reduction at times.

Abu Dhabi Police has urged drivers to adhere to traffic regulations.
