UAE donates COVID-19 testing kits worth $10 million to WHO

The UAE has donated $10 million (AED 36.73 million) worth of PCR COVID-19 testing kits to the World Health Organisation (WHO).

This has enabled the screening of 500,000 people in countries where kits are scarce.

The move is in support of global efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19.

To date, the UAE has provided over 714 tonnes of medical aid to 63 countries in need.
