Dubai flights to and from Germany cancelled due to walkout

Dubai flights to and from Germany have been severely disrupted as ground handlers walked out ahead of wider strikes planned across the European country on Monday.

Emirates has confirmed that due to planned industrial action and airport closures announced across Germany on 10th of March 2025, the following Emirates flights have been impacted:

EK59/09th March – Dubai to Hamburg will now land in Hanover and complimentary bus transfers will be provided to Hamburg.
EK60/09th March – Hamburg to Dubai is cancelled.
EK61/09th March ‑Dubai to Hamburg is cancelled.
EK62/09th March ‑Hamburg to Dubai is cancelled.
EK52/10th March – Munich to Dubai is cancelled.
EK60/10th March ‑Hamburg to Dubai is cancelled.
EK62/10th March – Hamburg to Dubai is delayed and will operate as EK8062. The flight will depart from Hamburg on 11th March at 1700hrs local time and arrive in Dubai on 12th March at 0230hrs local time.
EK43/10th March – Dubai to Frankfurt is cancelled.
EK44/10th March – Frankfurt to Dubai is cancelled.
EK45/10th March ‑ Dubai to Frankfurt will operate as scheduled. 
EK46/10th March – Frankfurt to Dubai is cancelled. 
EK47/10th March ‑ Dubai to Frankfurt will operate as scheduled. 
EK48/10th March – Frankfurt to Dubai is delayed and will operate as EK8048 on 11th This flight will depart from Frankfurt on 11th March at 1730hrs local time and arrive in Dubai on 12th March at 0300hrs local time. 
EK55/10th March – Dubai to Düsseldorf will operate as scheduled.
EK56/10th March – Düsseldorf to Dubai will operate as scheduled.
EK57/10th March – Dubai to Düsseldorf will operate as scheduled.
EK58/10th March – Dubai to Düsseldorf will operate as EK8058 on 11th This flight will depart from Düsseldorf to Dubai on 11th March at 1700hrs local time and arrive in Dubai on 12th March at 0230hrs local time.

Customers affected by cancellations of flights to/from Hamburg on 9th March and 10th March will not be rebooked automatically by Emirates and should contact their booking agent for rebooking options. Customers who have booked directly with Emirates can contact us for assistance.

Customers affected by cancellations and delays to/from Frankfurt, Düsseldorf and Munich will be automatically rebooked and notified by Emirates. The new itinerary will be sent to the email address provided in the booking.

Before traveling to the airport, customers are advised to check the latest flight information by visiting the flight status page and arrive to the airport no later than three hours before their flight. 

Due to this disruption, additional delays may occur in Hamburg, Munich and Düsseldorf. Emirates customers travelling to/from Hamburg, Munich or Düsseldorf on March 10 can choose to either rebook flights to travel at an earlier time, or travel to/from an alternative airport within the same region, on other Emirates flights. Tickets must have been issued before March 8 2025.
