UAE leaders congratulate Al Ain on AFC Champions League win

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai have congratulated Al Ain FC on their AFC Champions League triumph.

ddThe UAE leaders took to social media to send their congratulations to Hernan Crespo's side after a historic second-leg comeback saw them clinch the title 6-3 on aggregate.

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said, “the victory is a moment of great pride for their fans and the whole nation”. 

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai also posted on social media platform X, saying, "Congratulations to the President and our people for Al Ain’s victory in the Asian Cup."

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council also praised the team's victory on X.

Saturday's match, watched by 20,000 people inside Al Ain's Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, ended 5-1 on the night giving the UAE-side victory 6-3 overall.
