UAE petrol prices to drop in July

Motorists in the UAE will pay less for petrol in July, while the price of diesel will increase by one fils a litre.

Super 98 petrol will cost AED 2.99 a litre, compared to AED 3.14 in June. 

Special 95 petrol will cost AED 2.88 per litre, down from AED 3.02, while E-Plus 91 petrol will be charged at AED 2.80 a litre, compared to AED 2.95 a litre.

Diesel will see a marginal increase, costing AED 2.89 a litre, up from AED 2.88.

Making the announcement, the UAE fuel price committee said the new rates will apply from July 1.
