UAE President, Qatari Prime Minister discuss bilateral ties

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed ways to enhance bilateral ties with Qatar during a meeting with the country's Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Mohammed, who is also Qatar's Foreign Affairs Minister, is on a working visit to the UAE.

He conveyed the greetings of Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

During the meeting, both leaders discussed ways to enhance cooperation and joint work for the benefit of both nations.

The two sides also discussed a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest and exchanged views on them.

Upon arrival at the Al Bateen Airport a day earlier, the Qatari Prime Minister was welcomed by Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser.
