The UAE has once again entered the Guinness Book of World Records- this time it's for forming the 'longest handshake chain'.

A human chain of 1,817 people helped break the record during an event titled "One World One Message" at Umm Al Emarat Park in Abu Dhabi.

The initiative was launched by the Abu Dhabi Police's Youth Council marking the first anniversary of the signing of the Fraternity Document during the visit of Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al Azhar.

Captain Omar Al Tenaiji from Abu Dhabi Police Youth Council shared the details with ARN News.
