US Secretary of State discusses UAE-Israel peace deal during visit

On the latest stage of his Middle East tour, the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has held talks in the UAE with Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the national security advisor.

They reviewed several regional and international issues as well as the strengthening of strategic relations between the two countries.

Sheikh Tahnoun and Pompeo discussed the UAE-Israel peace accord and its role in advancing peace and stability in the region.

Developments relating to the global fight against COVID-19 and efforts to contain the impact were also examined.
