Taking a parking test in Dubai is about to change for driving licence applicants, with 'smart vehicles' replacing inspectors.
This means, your skills in parallel, side and garage parking will be judged by a set of cameras and sensors fitted on the cars.
It will then relay the test images to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) control tower.
Authorities say this move will reduce the error margin for pass and fail decisions.
Drivers have to pass three separate tests to be granted a licence, with only the yard test automated.
The RTA said the Smart Yard project "has been applied to 15 testing yards in Dubai, and 108,603 smart testing processes have been completed".
