Services on the Dubai Tram have been disrupted between stations 1 and 8, following heavy rains.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) confirmed that alternative bus services have been provided between the affected stations.

Affected Roads
Traffic has been diverted on Sheikh Zayed Road for motorists coming from Abu Dhabi towards Dubai. Expo Road and Al Yalayis Street are the alternative routes.
Meanwhile, users of Al Asayel Street and First Al Khail Street, coming from Business Bay towards Jebel Ali, are advised to use alternative routes such as Al Khail Road and Sheikh Zayed Road.
The RTA has also warned of delays on Umm Suqeim Street, and has urged motorists to use Hessa Street instead.

Earlier in the day, the RTA had announced the disruption of services at the ONPASSIVE station on Dubai Metro's Red Line.
It had also confirmed that the Metro's operating hours will be extended until 3:00 AM on Wednesday to serve commuters during rainy conditions.
