The World Aviation Safety Summit will be taking place from December 9 to 10 in Dubai.

The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority will be hosting the summit to explore potential solution for airspace congestion for the Middle East and wider regions.

They will also discuss ways to upgrade technology and redesign the regional air space in order to enable increased capacity for airlines.

A report by IATA revealed that solving airspace challenges and creating greater collaborations could help introduce 620,000 additional jobs to the market and more than 293.85 million dirhams [80 million dollars] in GDP by 2037.
