Emirati driver Amna Al Qubaisi won the first F4UAE’s Trophy Round at Yas Marina Circuit on Saturday.

The 19-year-old held the lead from the start after securing pole position in Friday's qualifier, leaving Xcel Motorsport duo of Nicola Marinangeli and Alex Connor behind.

It's the first time that four women were part of the season-opening round in Abu Dhabi, with three of them from the GCC.

Amna's sister, Hamda, came in at fifth after falling behind Jordanian driver Manaf Hijjawi of Dragon Racing.

Race 2 will take place on Sunday at Yas Marina.
