Arsenal end worst run since 1977

ADRIAN DENNIS / AFP

Arsenal have ended their worst winless run in 42 years.

After going nine games without a win in all competitions, the Gunners came from behind at half-time to beat West Ham 3-1 in the English Premier League.

All three goals were scored in a quickfire nine minutes.

The win lifted Arsenal to ninth in the standings and ended a poor run of form which cost Unai Emery his job.
