Fitzpatrick on fire at WGC-Fedex St. Jude Invitational

2016 DP World Tour Championship winner Matthew Fitzpatrick is on top of the leaderboard at the halfway stage of the World Golf Championships-Fedex St. Jude Invitational.

The Englishman carded a 64 on Friday to lead four players including 2017 DP World Tour Championship winner Jon Rahm by two shots.

Meanwhile two-time Omega Dubai Desert Classic winner Rory McIlroy is on four under par, five behind Fitzpatrick.

The third round from Memphis Tennessee gets underway on Saturday night.
