Rain ruins first Pakistan, Australia T20

SAEED KHAN / AFP

The opening T20 International between Australia and Pakistan has ended without a result after rain had the final say.

Pakistan batted first at the Sydney Cricket Ground and made 107 for 5 in their allotted 15 overs.

The hosts were on 41 for no loss after just three overs before the heavens opened up and forced the match to be called off.

The second T20 International will be played at Canberra on Tuesday.
