Former world number one Serena Williams has advanced to the quarter-finals of the Top Seed Open.
She came from a set down to beat her sister Venus 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.
"It was a high-quality match, Venus is playing really, really good," said Serena. "She was running me around a lot, and then at one point it was just big serves, then we were both returning really well. It was really good.
"I honestly don't know how I was able to pull it out at the end," she concluded.
Serena next faces American wild-card entry Shelby Rogers, who defeated Canadian qualifier Leylah Fernandez 6-2, 7-5.
Meanwhile, Jil Teichmann advanced to the quarterfinals after crushing No. 5 seed Yulia Putintseva 6-2, 6-2. She will next play CiCi Bellis, who secured a 6-3, 6-2 win over Jessica Pegula.
