Southampton to sign Arsenal's Ramsdale for AED 121m

Southampton are set to sign goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale from Arsenal after the two clubs agreed a AED 121 million (£25 million) fee for the England star.

Ramsdale is expected to complete his move before the transfer window shuts on Friday. 

Southampton are paying AED 87 million (£18 million) upfront with the potential of AED 33 million (£7 million) in add-ons.

Ramsdale has been second choice to David Raya in the Arsenal goal making just six appearances last season.

The England star has made a total of 78 Premier League appearances for the Gunners having signed from Sheffield United in 2021.
