Washington Nationals secure place in World Series

The Washington Nationals have reached the World Series for the first time.

They beat the St Louis Cardinals 7-4 to clean sweep their MLB League Championship Series.

The Nationals will now play either the Houston Astros or the New York Yankees in the World Series.

Currently, the Astros lead the Yankees 2-1 in their best-of-seven-series.
