Renault unveils new car ahead of 2017 F1 season

Renault say they are targeting fifth place in the 2017 Formula One Championship.

It’s as they’ve unveiled their new car – the first for which they have overseen the whole design process since returning to the sport.

The constructor predicts that the vehicle will offer performance gains of 5 per cent compared to last season, in which the team finished ninth.

It’ll be driven by Jolyon Palmer and new signing Nico Hulkenberg.
